Course Objectives
- Investigate the research on technology and student achievement
- Develop standards-based lesson plans and curriculum units to meet the needs of diverse learners by applying the Universal Design for Learning® Model
- Leverage “universally designed” desktop software and online tool to develop effective learning and study skills with all students
- Expand technology skills for all learners
- Improve skills in technology integration
Combined Service Program
- PSU Graduate Course plus 10 days onsite to model and support teachers in successfully implementing new instructional practices (Universal Design for Learning®) in the classroom.
Specialized Service Programs
- “Kurzweil 3000® Training and Implementation Program” – 3-phase implementation system designed for you to successfully implement Kurzweil 3000® in your school or school district.
- Customized training in assistive technology software for staff.
- Consulting Services – 5, 10 or 20 day contracts offered.
