Course Objectives

Investigate the research on technology and student achievement
Develop standards-based lesson plans and curriculum units to meet the needs of diverse learners by applying the Universal Design for Learning® Model
Leverage “universally designed” desktop software and online tool to develop effective learning and study skills with all students
Expand technology skills for all learners
Improve skills in technology integration

Combined Service Program

PSU Graduate Course plus 10 days onsite to model and support teachers in successfully implementing new instructional practices (Universal Design for Learning®) in the classroom.

Specialized Service Programs

“Kurzweil 3000® Training and Implementation Program” – 3-phase implementation system designed for you to successfully implement Kurzweil 3000® in your school or school district.
Customized training in assistive technology software for staff.
Consulting Services – 5, 10 or 20 day contracts offered.
