Course Objectives

  • Investigate the research on technology and student achievement
  • Develop standards-based lesson plans and curriculum units to meet the needs of diverse learners by applying the Universal Design for Learning® Model
  • Leverage “universally designed” desktop software and online tool to develop effective learning and study skills with all students
  • Expand technology skills for all learners
  • Improve skills in technology integration

Combined Service Program

  • PSU Graduate Course plus 10 days onsite to model and support teachers in successfully implementing new instructional practices (Universal Design for Learning®) in the classroom.

Specialized Service Programs

  • “Kurzweil 3000® Training and Implementation Program” – 3-phase implementation system designed for you to successfully implement Kurzweil 3000® in your school or school district.
  • Customized training in assistive technology software for staff.
  • Consulting Services – 5, 10 or 20 day contracts offered.
