How can online interactive tools support student learning in math?
In this workshop, participants will learn how to apply interactive
simulations and online tools to what evidenced-based research
indicates are the most effective interventions in math. Using
evidenced-based recommendations made by the Institute of Education

math simulations and interactive tools can support math instruction
while improving student learning. Participants will develop a math

TESTIMONIALS
“Kathleen came to Churchill to work with a
group of our teachers for 2 days last spring. She was knowledgeable,
informative, and practiced what she preached regarding UDL. Our heads
were often spinning with information as we kept connecting what she was
teaching us to what we do at Churchill. It was refreshing to work on
technology curriculum with Kathleen, who has an education background,
rather than someone with only the technology background. She really
helped us connect the dots to what we were doing to the possibility of
what we could be doing. Our committee was highly energized and
committed to put into practice what we learned about UDL.
We now have begun teaching our entire staff and know that her time with
us will help us further lesson development and learning for all of our
students.”

“This was the best workshop I have been to in a
long time! I did not expect to get so many resources that would change the
way I accommodate children's needs. Thank you for this excellent
opportunity!”
