Founded on a vision that every child should have the
opportunity to develop a foundation of 21st Century learning skills,
EdTech Associates provides services to empower all schools and students to succeed.
Mission
- Deliver effective professional development
programs to schools while providing educators skills in designing
standards-based lessons and curriculum in support of “all learners”
- Design customized technology solutions for schools, districts or
individuals while providing a lasting “Foundation, Framework and
Direction” for the future.
- Collaborate with schools, organizations and companies seeking to
develop and establish 21st Century learning environments where all
students can learn.
Core Beliefs
- Current and future “universally designed”
technologies are essential in removing barriers to learning and in
improving outcomes for all learners.
- Professional development in technology, based on research-based
instructional methods, is key in developing the human infrastructure
schools will need to use technology as effective instructional tools
for all learners.
- Student achievement can be attained by developing learning skills
with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
- Independent learning skills can be realized by the diversity of
learners in each classroom when teachers, students, administrators
and parents learn “how to choose and use the appropriate technology
for the task.”
